When it comes to building blocks and construction toys, few brands are as well known as LEGO®. They offer interlocking bricks that snap together securely. This allows children to build a wide variety of solid structures including vehicles, buildings and play sets. Most sets contain instructions for building specific models. These can then be used for play or simply displayed. They can even be taken apart and built again. LEGO makes sets in a number of different themes such as City, Castles and Pirates. They also make sets based on licensed properties. These include popular movies, TV shows and cartoons.
LEGO Juniors sets are a great starting point for younger children. LEGO offers a product range called DUPLO® for kids who are 2-years-old and up. LEGO Juniors is a transition range between DUPLO and the regular LEGO sets. LEGO Juniors sets are generally rated as appropriate for children between the ages of 4 to 7 and make up some of the best LEGO sets for both boys and girls. These sets often include “Starter Bricks.” These are pieces that make up part of the overall build. They are shaped to appear like several standard LEGO bricks already connected together. This makes building a little easier and helps to instil some confidence in first-time LEGO users.
LEGO Juniors: Jurassic World, Raptor Rescue Truck – LEGO set number 10757
This fun set is based on the popular “Jurassic World,” film franchise. The set is perfect for kids who love dinosaurs. It is rated as appropriate for children between the ages of 4 to 7. Minifigure is the term for LEGO action figures that stand approximately 1.5 inches tall. They are usually made up of six parts and feature seven points of articulation. They can be posed and made to sit in vehicles or interacted with the play sets that children build. They connect to LEGO bricks at several points, so they can be securely fastened to vehicles or scenery. The heads, hands, legs and other parts can even be swapped around for customization.
Minifigures come as licensed characters, themed characters or just generic people to populate LEGO play sets. In this set, kids will get Owen, the main star of the “Jurassic World,” movie, and a park-tracker figure. The main build for this set is an off-road truck measuring around 5-inches long, 2-inches wide and 2-inches tall. The Raptor Rescue Truck set comes with a lot of extras and accessories. There are tranquilizer guns and walkie talkies for the heroes. The LEGO Juniors sets offer kids countless hours of fun. Children will enjoy building the models as they also learn how to follow directions. They can then enjoy hours of role-play fun as they create their own adventures with their favorite characters, vehicles and play sets. There’s no need to worry about children outgrowing their LEGO Juniors sets either. All LEGO pieces are compatible. As your children grow, they can continue to use their LEGO Juniors bricks with more complex LEGO sets that are designed for older children.
