The LEGO Batman Movie DK Books Range Review

Last week we received a special package from DK Book, it was arrived in what we can only assume is some sort of Wayne Tech made black bubblewrap envelope. It even included a funky LEGO Batman Movie themed address label. Within the package was a trio of new titles DK Books based on The LEGO Batman Movie. We’re told we are part of a selective few to receive such a package! So lets take a closer look at the three titles DK Books kindly sent us.

The stand-out title from the first wave of The LEGO Batman Movie book is the Essential Guide. It’s packed with some great images and facts about the characters and locations from the movie. One of the most talked about elements of the book is the inclusion of images of possible future sets based on some of the bad guys vehicles. Each page of the book focuses on different aspects of The LEGO Batman Movie including vehicles, characters and locations.

As well as featuring stills from the movie, the book also makes great use of physical sets and minifigures. I’ve always been a fan of these type of books from DK. Content is well presented and the fact it gives a few hints to future sets and the movies storyline is an added bonus. It’s the perfect title to help build excitement ahead of the movies release on February 10th, as if you weren’t already excited enough.

The LEGO Batman Movie Ultimate Sticker Collection

The LEGO® Batman™ Movie Ultimate Sticker Collection is packed with more than 1,000 colourful and reusable stickers including Batman, Robin, The Joker and many more Batman characters and villains. With awesome vehicles such as the LEGO batmobile and Batman characters. Explore the exciting world of Gotham City as you add stickers to the colour scenes to create your own adventure.

RRP: £7.99 | ISBN: 9780241279465 | Pages: 96 |

Who doesn’t like a sticker? The LEGO Batman Movie Ultimate Sticker Book is filled will over a 1000 LEGO Batman themed stickers. Alongside the stickers are a handful of pages which can be completed with certain stickers found in the book. There’s also some cool sticker builds, where you have to complete a bigger image with a selection of stickers. These are dotted throughout the book, so you’ll have fun searching through them all to get the right ones. The additional stickers can be used for whatever you wish. The book is aimed at younger LEGO fans but with the amount of stickers you get it’s certainly going to keep them busy for a rainy afternoon or two.
