LEGO Santa’s Workshop Arrives At Covent Garden

It’s that time of the year where LEGO join forces with Bright Bricks to bring a little LEGO festive cheer to London’s Covent Garden Piazza. After a Giant LEGO Advent Calendar, walk-through LEGO Snow Globe and LEGO Christmas train, this year Santa and his Elves have set up their Toy Workshop. The festive production line contains over 700,000 LEGO elements and you can interact and win LEGO prizes by ‘Blipparing’ special poster, it’s the same app used to bring Bricks Magazine to life. So if you’re out and about in London pop along to the Covent Garden Piazza and check out this amazing LEGO Christmas display. It’s also a short walk from the new Leicester Square LEGO Store and why not make a day of it.

29 November 2016: The annual LEGO® Christmas build has arrived in Covent Garden to bring some Christmas magic to the piazza one again.

LEGO tools at the ready, the Elves are busy building Christmas in Santa’s Workshop which is made with over 700,000 LEGO bricks.  Santa is keeping a watchful eye over the elves and is busy filling the sack with LEGO Christmas presents.  The elves are being kept warm while they work with a roaring fire, the countdown to Christmas is on and there is still a lot of work to be done.

Join the elves on the ‘production line’, take a selfie, or should we say ‘elfie’, and share at #LetsBuildXmas.

Download the free Blippar app, point your phone at the LEGO poster and scan. Santa’s Sleigh will come to life in front of your eyes and drop three presents, simply click on each of the three presents for a different LEGO experience:

  1. Instructions on how to build a LEGO Christmas decoration
  2. Decorate your own LEGO selfie
  3. Win sets of LEGO

Brought to Covent Garden by LEGO UK, Santa’s Workshop will be in the Covent Garden Piazza from 29th November through to 29th December.  This impressive LEGO installation has been Designed and built by Duncan Titmarsh, the UK’s only LEGO Certified Professional.
