Snooze, backlight and alarm functions are activated by simply pressing down on your minifigureʼs head.

  • 9.5 inches tall (standing)

  • Backlight LCD
  • 12hr display
  • Moveable arms and legs

Based on the characters from the new range of LEGO Ninjago playsets and the upcoming new season of the popular animated series, the brand new Kai Minifigure Clock, transforms a master of fire into a teller of time. Just like the minifigure it’s based on, the Kai Minifigure Clock has the master of Spinjitzu in his Time Twins outfit. Everything you would find on the minifigure is perfectly recreated, but to a much larger scale.

Just like a minifigure, the Kai Minifigure Clock features poseable arms and legs, along with hands, so you can get Kai posing just as you would a minifigure. Of course the main feature of a clock is to tell the time. Set withing the torso area of the minifigure you’ll find a LCD digital display. This shows the time in a 12 hour AM/PM format with the time of day indicated by a small AM or PM mark in the top left-hand corner.

It can also used as an alarm clock thanks to a built-in alarm function, the alarm time is displayed in the bottom right-hand corner and can be activated by the on/off button on the back of the clock. Where you’ll also find a number of buttons, that allow you to easily change the time and alarm times. It really is really simple to use, hold down one button then press another to scroll through the times, it’s certainly much easier set than some other clocks are.

If you need to see what time it is in the dead of night, the LCD display also features a backlight, which can be illuminated for a few seconds by pressing down the top of Kai’s head, this action also doubles up to deactivate the alarm when is goes off. As we mentioned with the Robin Minifigure clock, when the display is not lit, it can be a little difficult to see in the wrong light but apart from that the clock is great.

The printed detail in just as sharp as its smaller counterpart and it’s a perfect larger scale recreation of a minifigure. I’m still intrigued as to how ClicTime manage to scale up the minifigure so perfectly. Maybe that would make a great future behind-the-scenes feature. Kai and the other LEGO Ninjago Time Twins Minifigure Clocks would make the perfect gift for any LEGO Ninjago fan and the full range, along with the LEGO Ninjago Time Twins Buildable Watches, are available now from ClicTime and various retailers.
