Epic Full-Sized LEGO Themed Arcade Cabinet

Our friends at Gifts From The Pirates have been working on something very special for a number of months and now it’s complete, they have finally unveiled it. After building a festive themed Death Star, with his two sons back in 2014, Pauly wanted a unique way to display their creation. He started to throw ideas around with his good friend Steve and they settled upon the idea of building a display case. But things soon escalated and they decided to incorporate their love of LEGO Videogames into what would become a fully function LEGO Arcade Cabinet.

In the bottom of the arcade unit base, you’ll find the LEGO Christmas Death Star which is mounted upon a festive Star Wars themed landscape and it also rotates to fully show off the build. But if that wasn’t impressive enough the cabinet contains a selection of LEGO Videogames, all of which run from a PC hidden within the cabinet’s innards.

The cabinet is then decorated with a whole host of little LEGO builds themed around the some of the games it can play. These mainly include Marvel and DC Super Heroes builds, all of which make great use of LEGO sets and their minifigures along with plenty of custom builds, to bring a bit of visual flare to the whole thing.

Finally to tie it all together the side panels are home to a number of minifigures and are finished off with a custom LEGO logo created by Laser Frame. But to get the true nature of this projects scale, you’re got to see it to believe it. We’ve included a selection of images here and you can read more about it’s creation, plus see further images over at Giftsfromthepirates.com I’m sure you’ll agree it’s an epically unique way to display LEGO as well as sharing your passion of the brick with others.
