Today makes the 20th Anniversary of the hit Nintendo video game series Pokémon. The popular catch-um up has been delighting gamers across multiple Nintendo consoles and handhelds for an incredible 20 years, I still remember the day I headed into town to grab an import copy of the game for my Game Boy, after reading all about this Japanese title called Pocket Monsters. Although my Pokémon trainer credentials may have lapsed a little over the years, I still have a soft spot for Pikachu and his buddies. So to celebrate #Pokémon20 we thought we’d go in search of some brick built creatures and after a few encounters in the long grass we stumbled across these incredible builds by Mike Nieves. Mike has built a trio of Pokémon from a mixture of LEGO and Technic elements to create some beautiful LEGO MOCs, that each capture the essence of their digital muses. So behold Grass-type evolved Leafeon, Fire-type Rapidash and Legendary Pokémon Arcanine.
